Congratulations to him!! It looks like the rules required that the car be mechanically stock. What sort of cars was he racing against?

It was the 70s road sport championship which has its own Facebook page if you want to have a look. The key players were 2 Elans a seven a stunning TVR and a fantastic Capri plus a few others. Fantastic close racing.

He beat the Elans ? Wow, the last time I took an interest in the Historic cars series the Elans were all over everything and for some reason that I could never understand, no-one thought the Europa could cut it.

Last year in the HSCC a guy (Oliver) in a light blue TC was winning everything till he had a major off, back racing again now I think. He was seeing off Elans, Morgan plus 8s Alphas etc.
Yes has to be pretty stock and stock brakes as well!
