Where did you purchase the crash pad or is it the original refinished?

It's just the original one retrimmed with dark grey vinyl.  There are so many new parts on this car I have tried to upcycle as much as possible so there are some original parts.

I'm very impressed, it looks a professional job. Was it a kit or have you been borrowing the wife's sewing machine ?

I trimmed the dashboard in black leather cloth as that was very easy but the crash pad was done by my local auto trimmer in dark grey and finished it with a lovely line of stitching Along the front.  The same retrimmer made the headlining for me from two layers of padded headlining fabric and stitched into a diamond pattern. They also made A pillar panels for me and another for the rear windscreen.  Al for £180 cash.

Well, the guy did an excellent job.

I've got one of Bank's centre consoles which is vinyl trimmed with neat stitching and I think it really makes a difference, it just lifts the interior. And the dash top is something you see all the time you're in the car, so it's money well spent IMO.

Fitted the crash pad this weekend and test fitted the redesigned dashboard. Still a lot to do but once it's been tweaked I think this going to look great.

Looks great but you swapped the positions of the glove box and steering wheel!  :FUNNY:

Looks great. The paint came out really well, by the look of the pics.
