I went to a professional paint shop here in the states and gave them all the various paint codes for Lotus Yellow. Nothing came up on the computer. The original paint was a lacquer based paint which isn't available anymore. Do you know what brand was used and the code?

I'm sorry I don't. I just went to a paint supplier and asked for it. It's a two pack paint and they had no problems mixing it.

Did you try looking at the "Factory Paint Codes" on the home screen forum list? (third from bottom)
It redirects you here...http://www.lotus-europa.com/colors.html
You can click on the red ICI paints & Glasurit links...

Very unusual colour scheme for a Europa, but very close to an Elan Sprint, which was a very pretty car.

I am always surprised at how small these cars are compared to modern sports cars.

An Elan looks quite a bit smaller that the Mazda copy.

Yes, I did that. ICI owns Sikkens and I went to a Sikkens paint dealer and showed him the page of paint color. He said nothing in the computer to match it. He also mentioned that no one makes lacquer paint anymore so that is why the codes don't work.

From the glimpses it looks amazing.
I kind of like the slow unveil, but is she waiting for the wedding night before she'll been seen wearing only a smile?

Looking good....    I've never seen that Else-Europa badge before, did they all come with one ?  It's a great period addition.

The crash pad is very nice, is that a vinyl trim of the original foam filled one or a fibreglass replica ?  Whatever, it looks great.
