The collor is RAL 1018 zink yellow. From HB Body.
They could not find L07 yellow, so i went with this and are very happy with it.

Looks great!

RAL 1018 Zinc Yellow is VERY close to Lotus L07! Not good enough for a partial respray, but for a complete paint job, it's really good!

RAL 1018 is a very nice colour, the shade changes quite a bit in different light. This will be the colour I will be using for the S1 as well!

Yes, this is the collor i also found to be very close to L07 and i am much pleased with it. Havent seen it out in daylight yet tough :o

 But are a bit worried about the hub and drive shafts, so i am going to replace them with vw parts soon.

The hub axles are actually Porsche 924/944 and the hub flanges are ISP West Type 3 .

The Twin Cam plays the symphony whilst my right foot conducts the orchestra. At 3800 rpm the Mad Pipe Organ joins in.

It drives like a big gocart, and is well behaving with the stock EFI.
No trouble with speed bumps either.
