Carpet for boot areas
« on: Sunday,July 05, 2015, 04:08:09 AM »
Hello All,

Does anyone know if there was a carpet piece fitted in the rear luggage box or in the front luggage area, some photos show them others don't, or are they made by their owners?

Many thanks Stuart,

Trying to find info about the Europa is really difficult, I also have a 308GTB and even the tiniest details about the smallest item is well documented! Only just realised that I have no sun visors and arms fitted a couple of weeks ago, so I am after a pair?
Lovin' the TC though!

Yes, there were carpet pieces in the later TCs. I suspect that after market suppliers of carpet kits will include those pieces. I got a kit from an outfit in New York called AutoMat (http://www.autointeriors.biz) and it came with those pieces by default. I would certainly try Richard at Banks.

Period magazine articles are a good source.  There are a number of original owners on here and on the yahoo group.  The Europas were not particularly well finished so they were frequently "improved" by their owners.
