4129R gets new wheels

After changing to 108mm PCD wheels to get better choice, I bought some 6 x 13 Minilites, which were silver.

But she who must be obeyed preferred the gold wheels which were originally on it, so after a delay while Minilite sorted out their paint plant, the gold 6 x 13 arrived.

She was right. I think they look good. Comments please.

The gold wheels do look good. It also appears that the body sills reflect the gold color of the wheels in the photos. They would also look nice painted gold. Great looking car by the way.

Sills are painted a slightly lighter gold.

I now need to get the pin stripes done properly.

Yup, beautiful wheels. They look great, as does the rest of the car. I must say that personally, I prefer the look of the wheels without the centre caps in place.

4129R gets an engine transplant.

40 DCOEs and QED special cams.

I just need to set the timing properly, and set up the Webers. Then the fun begins.

To get the gearbox attached, I had to tilt the engine down at the rear quite a lot, so much that the front hose from the water pump became detached, so when I let the engine back down level, I had to line up the hose at the same time.

With 145 BHP discs all round, and sticky Yokohama tyres, it should be fun.

Yep looking good, putting gold wheels on my black special too, What Yokohama  tyres did you put on it and where did you get them.

All the Yokohamas were bought from EARS.

nice combination I had a s special    eunos  red insides black body gold.  BBS wheels
