Dash top repair?
« on: Sunday,December 28, 2014, 04:55:57 AM »
I have a crack on top of the dash, middle... Common problem I suspect. I certainly don't want to replace, so wondered about anyone's experience of in situ repair? Was thinking about filler, touch up?

Any recommendations or suggestions?

There are people who make their living doing in situ repairs to vinyl and plastic.  Most times their repairs are invisible.  Check with your local new car dealer as they be able to recommend someone.  Yes, many, if not most, "new" cars require "retouching".

Good call. Like Dentmaster... They do interiors too. I'll look into it. Guess they fill, rub down, then apply paint and fade in.
