wow, that is a lot of page hits. Ok, maybe not compared with Amazon and the like, but for such a small market I think it's pretty impressive.

And quite a decent number of topics as well, I guess that averages out at about one new topic per day ?

Original owner, eh? Very cool, I didn't realise that.

I have just the one, but with moderate effort I could be talked into another

It has VERY few miles on it. Most of them from the first month or two of my ownership (about 10K) and about 6K since "finished" rebuilding it in 1999. More than 1K of that in the last month.

I don't think it will ever really be finished but it's in the best shape it's ever been in since I "finished" it and I'll be driving it a lot more from now on!

Wow, that's amazing. Very low milage indeed, and it certainly is a gorgeous car. It must run well with that BDA. But yes, by all means, drive that thing. I can't stay out of mine. I've put 18,000 miles on it since I got it four years ago. Every once in awhile I realise a month or two has gone by without driving the Lotus, and of course living in Nova Scotia it gets put away for at least six or seven months during winter each year, but generally I jump into it any time I can find an excuse to do so. Multi-day road trips are best, pure Lotus indulgence day after day. There is nothing better.

Thanks for the kind words! It does run pretty good. Since getting ready for the LOG I've driven it more than my Mercedes!
