That reminds me of when I was shopping for my sports car. I wanted 4 wheel discs, fuel injection, mid-engined, and hopefully a 5-speed. I sat in a 914 (which checked all my boxes) and it was so plain and, to my mind, without personality in comparison to the Europa interior. I drove an Alfa sedan because they didn't have a spider (the spider and sedan had four wheel discs and fuel injection but no mid engine, of course) I could drive but with the seat pushed all the way back, my arms were stretched out and the steering wheel went between my knees (obviously Italians are built like gorillas!).
So I ended up getting the Europa which didn't have anything on my critical needs list but I'm super happy I did!
