I would recommend that you replace cooling pipes with stainless steel. The old won't get any better. I'll be doing mine when/if I have engine out. Don't forget to do heater hard lines at the same time.

I have flushed mine, and radiator, for now. A lot of rust flakes had stuck to inside of rubber hoses to. When I squeezed them when they were off they would crunch and drop flakes out of them!

I agree 100%. Best get rid of the thin, steel originals. There are both stainless and aluminum solutions available, or get a local shop to make up a set. When my engine comes out for any reason, I'll be tackling that job myself.
The Twin Cam plays the symphony whilst my right foot conducts the orchestra. At 3800 rpm the Mad Pipe Organ joins in.

The shipping and tax cost are huge for new cooling lines so I decided to create them myself.
I asked a local shop to bend some alu tubes, they want a drawing of the lines. Is there a drawing available somewhere of these cooling lines?

You can use aluminum straight tube on both if you don't mind drilling a few more holes. I did one aluminum straight and pieced together a stainless one from an MR2 for the bent one. To do again, I would run two straight through.

I have all the parts, the car is complete for what I can see. I bought it in boxes, so it is a big puzzle.
The only thing I am missing Is a left hand door quarter glass. This one broke unfortunately in transport. Do you have any idea where to find this?

Welcome to the sight and good luck with your Europa.  I too would recommend that you replace the old steel lines with aluminum or stainless.  I made the mistake of not doing that and very shortly after I put the motor back, pressure in the line found the spot where rust had weakened the line and I had coolant all over the motor and road.  Now that you have access it would be a fairly simple job.  Keep looking for replacement pipes, they will show up.  Unfortunately they will be expensive

Funny this should come up, I've decided to buy dies for my bender and make my own as shipping is just silly now.
I have the old set to copy, not certain they are original as they are three pieces.
UK price was pretty good at £220, but £550 shipping is impossible.  :headbanger:
