HI:
I have 2 Weber 40's and one LP3000 Weber Linkage kit that I want to put together.
It comes with not so easy to follow instructions so my first find will be a site (or?) that gives me a vague idea what to aim for.
Any visuals that you may have would be appreciated.
Thanks

That's not an assembly instruction sheet; it's an exploded view parts diagram. It's no wonder you're having difficulty figuring it out.

Here's an instruction sheet I pulled of the internet.

Does this link help?
It seems to be the same document as yours but includes the installation notes.

   Hi Bernie,
Here are some pictures that may help also.

JB thanks for the web site. Now I know what the name and number of a part I need for the dual webers on the crossflow.

HI:
Thanks for the info!
Everything is easy after you have done it once or twice.
I welded up the intake manifolds being sure to do the 7.5% incline on them.
This was a rough assembly of the intake system to check clearance and fits.
I will take those assemblies off ,flip over and start the learning process.
I purchased this Weber kit off of a guy in 2006 and this is the first time I have had a good look at the bits.
The newer versions of this can come some what partially assembled.
A YouTube on this would be helpful.

Bernie, I see you have the short manifolds. Is there a brand name on them by any chance?
Going by eye, those ones appear to have a little more room in the middle for the interconnecting linkages on the butterfly shafts, too.

HI:
" Is there a brand name on them by any chance?"
I made them a few years ago when I had access to some good welding equipment and cast aluminum.
There is just enough room between them(Butterfly shaft touches other shaft) so fitting in my Weber bottom mount is being problematic.
I have to fab a throttle lever that also has the extension to twin the second carb 45048149 Balance piece.

Well, I'm impressed that you made them yourself - well done, and the shorter manifolds should help with trumpet/bodywork interference as well.

HI:
Thanks it wasn't the easiest of tasks.
The one thing I did(went out of my way) was to be sure I had a 7.5 deg incline on the mounts.
I had read that Weber recommended that on a manifold design.
The S2 presently has a single 45 with a "store bought" manifold.
It only has 35K on it and 5 K since I rebuilt it in the 90's so there is no made dash to drop in the 807.
The 807 was bought in pieces back then with the hope of one day doing a transplant.
Retirement is the best "job" I have ever had(time and inclination to do this sort of thing).

HI:
Finally got the bottom mount linkage installed and working as it should.
Not an easy task because of the twinning of the carbs.
The install instructions were marginally helpful.
If anyone undertakes this in the future and is having issues drop me a line.
