I just finished replacing the old motors with new ones. These are the same 12 toothed gear, 2 lbs lighter each, use less current and move a little faster. I didn't measure amps with a clamp on meter but my dash would would get close to 30a. These, maybe 5a. My old ones would not operate unless the battery was fully charged just after driving but I have a very small battery. I disassembled and greases these 5 years ago too.
On the new ones, two holes don't line up. Actually all 3 but you could use the one hole that is close and drill another in the bracket. I chose to make an adapter to use all 3 holes. The motor needs to be spaced off .375" to keep the gear from contacting bracket.
They come with plug ends. You will have to modify your switch to reverse the polarity to the motor for direction. Negative and positive go into the switch and reverse polarity depending on up or down. I'm using lighted Carling switches and jumped two terminals with push on spade adapters. I have a box of old Lotus parts that came with the car and some are wired correctly with soldered jumpers to work with these. Maybe they all are?

I used aluminum bolts, nuts, spacers, washers for all but one bolt on the adapter that had to have the head ground down and tacked the the adapter.
With the arm, motor bracket lightening and motors it was just over 4.5 lbs total.
