Was your hub Loctite’ed? I’m not suggesting that not having Loctite on the splines on your hub is causing your problem but you should use the proper Loctite on your hubs.

Yes. Everything about the hub nut, hub, splines, spacer appeared ok.  I didn’t take the bearing housing apart, but the bearings are new.  I really didn’t think the issue was in there.  The more I thought about it (and like others suggested) the ujoint could make those noises and movements.

Great, glad you found it.

On the latest video, it looks like there's only two circlips on the inner UJ.

In fact, one of the caps appears to be proud of the yoke.
Perhaps I'm imagining things?

Great news, and well done for the feedback on how it went. Whether I've made the right guess or not I always like to know what the solution was, that way we all learn.

Happy to report that the inner u joint looks good ( has all the circlips in).  Luckily it was just an allusion in the video  :beerchug:
