Looking for custom valve guides I came across the SI catalog on-line.
Seems they have guides for everything, I have not fully explored the catalog for other parts.
They list guides for Renault and Ford/Lotus engines without having to speak French.
My hope is to be able to order #VG5118/00 with custom 6mm bores.
Typically companies want to do custom bits in a fairly larger quantity.
Setting up modern machines and proving the program takes longer than making the parts. Been there, done that.
So in addition to Beehive springs my project has cascaded to 6mm valve stems for lighter weight and possibly better availability.
Hopefully there is a modern valve which is close to the R17 part but for stem diameter.
