Pro tip: try eBay.

And be mindful of the numerous cheap copies coming principally out of India, it seems.
Mind you, I've never seen one of the Indian copies in the flesh and they may be fine.

Try Caerbont instruments in Wales UK. They are the current manufacturer of Smiths instruments.

If you’re looking for new or as Gavin warns, avoid cheap knockoffs, Nisonger (http://www.nisonger.com/) also sells new Smiths gauges.

Gavin’s point is a good one. I’m in the market for bearings and there is apparently no shortage of counterfeits. Same story with spark plugs, especially NGK. So I amend my answer to be careful when shopping on eBay or Amazon.

Nisonger is the USA distributor for Caerbont . They also no longer repair instruments since they got flooded and  lost their equipment.
