Triuph herald callipers?
« on: Friday,December 03, 2021, 08:58:40 AM »
I want to buy new frontbrakecallipers.
Found some triuph herald type 14. Would they fit?
Also found some in the Uk, but shippingcosts are brutal.

Type 14 are the standard size for the Europa. IIRC there were a couple of piston/sealing bellows designs on that caliper but the bolting dimensions are the same.

The usual British parts places have them.  Checked British Parts NW and they have them rebuilt with SS pistons.

They're very common.  Used on Spitfires.  Moss Motors has them (unless they're just low on stock; I didn't check)
