I would like to replace this ammeter gauge but I do not recognize the brand logo.  Does anyone know that this may be?

No I can't.  The entire ring is crimped all the way around and it will ruin the gauge taking it apart.

As far as I remember, all the gauges are Smiths, except the ammeter which is Lucas, as there was an agreement at that time between the two companies that Smiths would not make electrical meters.

How about a photo of the front of the gauge?

Here is the front.  The gauge failed.  I believe the shunt broke.  The yellow wire goes from terminal to terminal I guess becoming an external shut and the power flows again, but the gauge doesn't work.

That is just a generic ammeter you can get at any discount shop like "Princess Auto" in Canada, or "Habor Freight" in the US.
