Wiper motor decided to work
« on: Monday,September 27, 2021, 01:31:23 AM »
This is a bid odd that after 10 months ownership the wipers never worked. I went through the wiring and it all did what it should up to the connector block at the wiper motor, including the black ground. So I assumed I would need to pull the motor to investigate. However after giving the battery a top up charge, as I have done numerous times before, the wipers decided to function perfectly.
Im baffled but very pleased.

Poor connection righted itself though perhaps not permanently.  Here's hoping though.

Wiper, heater fan, horn, and engine cooling fan all come off the same fuse which is turned on by the ignition switch.

The electrics on all old Lotus cars seem to have a mind of their own.
