Electronic ignition coil wiring

Hi John, FWIW - I fitted the PowerSpark electronic ignition to replace my points in my TCS, it was a very easy install.  I decided to go the Lucas Gold sports coil route, went for a 12V (non ballast) coil and just connected red to one side of the coil and black to the other as instructed.  Hardest part of the install was getting to the coil bracket mounting nuts, everything on this car wants you to have two people there to do it...

Timed up using an Innova adjustable advance timing light at the bellhousing viewing port and runs much better!

Thanks for the details and encouragement. I think I have everything sorted now and fingers crossed when I try to start the car after the complete rebuild - hopefully in a couple of weeks time...
