Nice! The lighter grey on the painted part of the wheels looks great. What tires are you running?

Weels are powder-coated in GM silver and tires are Kumho Solus TA11 - 175/70R 13 for front and rear.

The AGE motor is a really nice swap - if a bit more difficult to perform than the Zetec. The cable shift is nice too! Very nice! I can believe that a modern fuel injected motor is a big part of that "civilized" feeling. Congratulations!

They are stunning! I have the same question as Roddy, how do they compare? Can you elaborate on the driving experience to us?

S1 is much lighter (about 200 lbs), lower and feels quicker, like a pure race car. TC is a much more civilized car, especially this one with AC. The TC is FI 4AGE and NG3 with cable shift.

How do you like the cable shift? I am contemplating a conversion on my TCS

The cable shift, properly done, transforms the car: easy accurate shifting with no thought or effort

The cable shift is great. Once it is adjusted correctly, it works great. My TC is highly modified mechanically with 1991 4AGE 16V small port FI engine, Miata rear disc brakes, Nissan truck brake master & Civic slave cylinder, and full VW radiator in front. To improve the airflow for the front radiator, my son and I are working on an extra hood we have (see pic). The plan is to wrap the hood in CF semi-gloss black when it is finished.

So now I'll have to add a cable shift setup to my list of future mods!

Are you sure that that vent in your bonnet will flow enough air. It should exhaust as much air as comes in. It looks pretty small to me.

The vent on the extra hood works great, now hot air does not come in the passenger compartment anymore. See pics for the finished CF wrapped hood.

I am going to "let go" of my special 72 TC, please PM me for details if you are interested. By the way, it has AC and twin links as well.
