Radiator
« on: Sunday,May 09, 2021, 04:13:07 PM »
I have a very small leak in the radiator of my S2, I get about a table spoon of coolant where the spare tire goes after a 20 minute drive. I don't expect it to get better on its own.  Will this radiator work on a S2?

I got one of those aluminum radiators from ebay and it fit perfectly. I also bought a fan from Amazon and the only problem I had was the fan ALMOST fit. It was so close, I can't believe it wasn't an error. For that reason, if the fan is good, it might be worth it to get one with a fan (such as: https://www.ebay.com/itm/113258174247?hash=item1a5eb69727:g:VYwAAOSwhxNboc6O). I was pretty impressed with the workmanship on mine.

Keep in mind, I have a TCS so, as JB says, YMMV, but I think it should fit.

You have to drill new holes in the fibreglass for fixing, and cut down the two studs poking out the bottom.

I am still awaiting from other sources a 14mm x 150 otter switch, and a 14mm 150 to 18mm 150 adaptor to get the switch to fit in the 18mm x 150 housing in the ally rad.
