FS Ground effects set for TC
« on: Monday,September 14, 2020, 11:09:53 PM »
I removed this set from my TC. All are in good condition except the front air damn, which has a fresh fracture and evidence of prior problems.
The front air damn has had the lower portion strengthened.  I'm south of Phoenix close to I-8. I'm thinking $400 plus shipping.

Looks like the Laminar Concepts stuff. There was a guy on here that I think was the son of the owner. That was a few years ago.

No interest? I really struggled with the decision to restore the car with them or not. I guess I made the correct choice,,,, except getting something for them was on scale.

It is a really interesting period body kit.  If it had survived on a car in mint condition it would be cool.  I am thinking most people restoring their car have the same mind set as you, that a more original cars will generate more long term value.

I expected to find damage under the ground effects when I removed them and sure enough, a lightly busted right front corner that probably wrecked the front bumper at the same time. I also had a sawed hole in my rocker where the seat belt mount stripped out and they put a nut on a bolt as a band-aid. All repaired now. I dropped the body back on the frame today. Right after Pertronix informed me that the new distributer I ordered 2 weeks ago is backordered and they now have none in stock. I reminded them that it was in stock when I ordered it and, hey, "you're the damn manufacturer" "it's YOUR product." "backordered from who?" They said it didn't get shipped last Wed. like they said, It will be 2 more weeks. It sure would have been nice to have the dizzy to install without having to work over a body. I will leave the carbs off.

I emailed you before about your Ground Effects, Would you consider $300.00? As I mentioned I have to drive down from Iowa. I can't pay more than $300.00, If not no worries, please let me know. David
