TC Special weight

I picked up my car from the shop today and stopped at a truck scale.  They were nice enough to weigh the car.  I had just put in 12.5 gallons of fuel too.

I just saw somewhere today the weight listed as 1570lbs so that was accurate!

Were you in the car when it was weighed? Mine was 1660 lbs. with me in it. I don't remember how much gas was in it but take about 200 lbs off for the car only which seems light!

I was not in the car.  I removed the crossover pipes from the intake to exhaust, went with stainless headers, removed both brake boosters, removed the charcoal filter, removed the vapor tank that was by the firewall to the cockpit compartment and replace with a steel pipe I made, and the rear trunk was out of the car too.  I think I have a pretty small battery as well.
