reinstalling windows
« on: Saturday,June 06, 2020, 03:12:07 PM »
I am installing the frames back into the doors after paint. When mitering the door corner glass rubber, what do you use to bind or seal them where they meet? Also I am installing new felt/rubber in the window tracks, any special glue or.... to keep them in place?
thanks as always,
Martin

I’m also waiting for my sealant on the 1/4 panel rubber joints.
3M - AC-251 B-2 Black 3M - Standard Spec Windshield & Canopy Aerospace Sealant - 3.5 oz kt | 051141-57989 ... while it’s mixed up I will do the final cuts to rear window seal.
This will join the rubber .  Do not put any glue in the felt sliders in the window channels. After using some butyl sealant on those tracks to the body before riveting. The side internal felt slide in from bottom or top and pulled past window.
