Why take all the time and trouble to separate the chassis, and not strip the chassis bare?

How can you paint the chassis with all that crap still bolted on?

It is not until you take the engine out that you get in to the Y and see it there is any metal worm in there.

Plus you turn the chassis over to paint all the bits that rust, like the underside of the front box where the closure plate and the pedal box attaches.

It’s got an ashtray, will sell for more...... seriously, the body seems to be in good shape. A paint job alone would cost the current price of the car.
