Another Factory A/C Europa

I've only seen one Europa with the factory approved A/C manufactured by Coolaire in Miami, Fl and that is Pfreen's exquisite TCS. Now there are two for sale on eBay.  This one is not perfect but much, much nicer than the White/Yellow project.  This car was manufactured 6/72 and the Coolaire system was not approved till a few months later on the TCS.  This is either a retro-fit job or an early test car.  But what a tempting car.

It looks very nice! It's missing some things like inner door cards, headlight trim rings, and the panels in the fender but it has an ashtray!

I'm pretty sure I've seen an air conditioned Europa back in the day, but don't remember seeing the battery in that location!

I'd say US distributor/dealer rather than factory.  Battery placement is... unusual.

I wonder if the cylinder head has been built to big valve spec, as it's an early die-cast head which would have been out of print for at least 5 or 6 years before this car was built.
