The cars are driving me nuts.
My Europa has a Megasquirt on it and I screwed up last year updating the firmware and then finding out that the tune was living on a computer that had a dead hard drive, so need to retune. I dont care what anyone says...its not trivial.
Got it idling, went to put it outside and %#$%@!@#. The darn clutch is stuck again. It seems like every time I let this thing sit for a couple of months in winter, the clutch plate glues itself to the flywheel. Its pretty easy to deal with on a running car, less so if all the car can do is idle. So I let it warm all the way up at idle, the fan comes on. More ^#$&@#%@!!!!. The fan is making a racket. Still need to source a new fan motor.
NSX. Changed the timing belt. Takes me like 20 hours. Could be worse, but that job requires so much disassembly in a small space it would almost be easier to pull the motor. Some people do. OK, all that is left on that car is to really give it a good cleaning/detailing. I am so tight on time this year.
The Locost Seven. The oil pan started to leak at one of my welds where I put on a bash plate....sigh. And then I spot one of the Wilwood master brake cylinders leaking...and dissolving paint!!
First time I will try to get this thing inspected in MA (it has been titled in NH up till recently. at least getting the title transferred to MA was not a major hassle). I am not expecting it to be a slam dunk.
Don't get me started on prepping the boat for the season.
And then there is work... I need a clone. I have become a slave to the toys! Oh yeah, forgot about the motorcycle...
