Ah, you've got the best spec on the current market there Mike, from what I read when looking for mine the stub axle is stronger than the OEM one. Given you have the axle as well, it's probably no more expensive than mine, which just replace the shaft/doughnuts and retain the original stub axles.
It might seem expensive now, but in 12 months time when you're driving the car with no maintenance hassles you'll have forgotten all about the cost. (in fact my memory for spending on toys is really awful, sometimes I can't even remember how much something costs even when it arrives on the doorstep....
