Hello JB!

it looks very nice but I’m sure the chassis were ‘bonded-in’ on all S1 variants?
(the advert says it’s removable?)

I had taken a guess that JB meant the yellow S1B and not the Orange S2?

Yup, I hate it at medicals as the doctor calls everyone in to see that a light shone in one ear shines on the wall beside the other ear!

Yes, the S1b.  I won't fix my link.  No use hiding.

S1 chassis aren't actually "bonded" in they are sandwiched between the upper and lower molded pieces which are bonded together.  There are then rivets top and bottom of the "T" section, all along the bottom, three along each side where the "Y" starts and then bolted at the ends of the "Y" arms.  The rear loop is the only bonded part of the chassis and it's to the under-tray to keep it from flapping.

Oh no! I only just managed to resist the White S2 in Washington state. Beautiful car. Thanks for the link JB.

Sold for $15.5k.  That’s a great deal... if the chassis is sound.
