Rolling (?) chassis on ebay
« on: Tuesday,June 19, 2018, 07:57:02 AM »
Saw this on ebay this morning.  No affiliation.  The buy-it-now price looks, um, "optimistic".  Cracks in the frame are serious, and I think repair is a little more complicated than the description of "easily repairable".

In my opinion, he would be lucky to get $2,000 for that lot.

If someone offer him $1,500 he should take it.

To make that into a full S2, you would have difficulty sourcing a whole heap of things.

The only probable buyer would be someone who has crashed his car, bent at least 1 corner badly, with the shell repairable.

Engine, gearbox, shell, seats, and heaps of body parts would be hard and expensive to source.
