NG3 bearings and seals
« on: Friday,April 06, 2018, 09:54:21 AM »
I'm planning on rebuilding my NG3 sometime in the future and want to collect the bearings and seals in advance (I'm hoping to get synchros from Alpine-America). Does anybody here have a list of bearings and seals for the NG3?

Service manual here:

http://www.lotus-europa.com/manuals/misc/MRBVNG.pdf

Might be a couple of off-the-shelf bearings in there but not many.

Thanks, JB. I have the Renault manual NG manual. I thought bearings were standard. Do you think it has proprietary bearings?

I can't comment on the NG3 but the 395 (similar but smaller) has no off the shelf bearings.

Try www.123bearings.com They had the most obscure bearing for the 352 Transaxle in stock.

Thanks, Certified. I'll bookmark them. It will be a while before I get into this project. I was hoping that someone had a list so I wouldn't have to wait till I took the tranny apart before I ordered them.

Thanks, Surf! It's good to have more than one supplier!
