WTB Tail lamps or tail lamp bases
« on: Saturday,March 31, 2018, 08:22:38 AM »
I'm in need of a pair of tail lamp bases for the amber and red tail lights.   I was all set to install the ones that came with my car and I discovered that the bases are for the all red lamps (single bulb).   Does anyone have a spare set?

Did all federal Europas come with all red lenses? SJSportscars has the red and amber lenses and base.

Also I think some of the Jaguar XJ models came with the red and amber setup.

I have successfully drilled two holes, made up a divider, and fitted two bayonet fitting bulbs in federal tail lights.

The lenses are relatively cheap. The bulb holding bodies are not.

You can buy the bayonet fittings cheaply and glue them in new holes, fill up the old hole, and pop rivet the dividers in place.

Have you tried William in Burnaby?  I only have the set on my S2 and a spare left side for my federal twin cam so I can’t help.

Ross,
Thanks for reminding me about Doug, somehow I forgot about him.   As for checking with William, I'll send him a text.
