Lower Links for SALE
« on: Tuesday,January 16, 2018, 12:43:54 PM »
Hey would anyone out there in “Europaland” be interested in adjustable lower links?

These are adjustable aluminum lower links that fit all models of Europa.

These adjustable links will allow you to adjust & set the rear wheel camber you want for better handling & to avoid premature/uneven tire wear. Best of all, you can easily adjust camber while the links are in place on the car. Each tube is tapped RH on one end & LH on the opposite end. Therefore the effective length of the tube can be adjusted without removing the link from the chassis.
This is a direct bolt-in!

What comes with the kit?

2-swagged aluminum lower link shafts, constructed of 6061-T6 aluminum
2-aluminum RH threaded rod ends, w/self-lubricating & self-sealing Nylafiber
   Matrix race
Construction-Ball-52100 BEARING STEEL, HEAT TREATED, HARD CHROME PLATED
            Race-INJECTION MOLDED NYLAFIBER MATRIX
            Body-7075-T6 ALUMINUM, CLEAR ANODIZED

2-aluminum LH threaded rod ends, (Same As Above)
4-aluminum Jam nuts (2RH & 2LH)
8-“misalignment” cones, constructed of 2024-T3, allowing 28* of misalignment
8-stainless steel shims

Price…..$190 usd.

They look very pretty.  Is this just one kit for sale, or are you offering these on an ongoing basis?

The standard part has bushings at both ends, this one only has that little nylafiber thing.  So, is it intended for racing, rather than road use?

You can get rubber boots to cover the rod ends so road grit doesn't wear them out (eg. https://smile.amazon.com/Seals-It-RERS36PK-Rod-End-Boots/dp/B00TO69ALQ/ref=sr_1_29?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1516140766&sr=1-29&keywords=rod+end+rubber+boot). Also, the rod ends don't seem to affect ride quality on my car.
