Secondary Butterflies
« on: Monday,May 08, 2017, 04:04:30 PM »
I'm getting ready to service the Strombergs on my car and was wondering what the consensus seems to be on removing them.  The links that run from the carb throttle shafts to the secondaries are missing so I'm thinking of just removing them and plugging the shaft holes in the manifold.

Thanks for your input!

Yup, remove them and plug the holes. If the system is disabled then they will only be a hindrance to smooth intake flow.
The Twin Cam plays the symphony whilst my right foot conducts the orchestra. At 3800 rpm the Mad Pipe Organ joins in.
