I must confess I never thought I would own a Europa. I have a photo my mother  just gave me from when I was a kid. I had completly forgotten about it. Moms 97 now. I had visited the Lotus dealer in Buffalo in 1971 ,rode by bike maybe 10 miles threw the city with my best frend on a Saturday They were also a Renault dealership / Lotus
I remember sitting in one on show room  and thinking this is so cool and different  I loved it, took a Polaroid picture of one in the parking area.
So mom Recently Gave me the photo, On the back it said" "My Lotus europa Summer of 1971"
I own a 72 Europa built in 71now
