Hi all, I've had my Europa Special since 1989, been on the Yahoo group since it was an actual listserve. I've actually had an account here for a few years. But I think this is my first post. So, Hi everyone.

By the way, I don't have tires that need those flares. So if anyone has stock wheel rims they just cut off, I'm interested.

:Welcome:  Kendo! I like the color!  ;D

What are your plans for your car besides going back to the original wheel arches? Are you keeping it basically stock or do you have any mods in mind?

Hi Ken, and welcome to the community Forum.

I'm sure I recognise your name from the list, that's a distinctive surname you have there.  You'll find some familiar names on here and many of us are also on the Yahoo group as well, although I'll confess I rarely post on the list these days.

Richard Banks at Europa Engineering should be able to provide stock rear fender repair sections.  Phone rather than email works best.

Welcome tot he forum, Ken. Good to have you aboard.
The Twin Cam plays the symphony whilst my right foot conducts the orchestra. At 3800 rpm the Mad Pipe Organ joins in.

It did take me a while to post. But, here I am.

I intend to keep it mostly stock. It already has the Banks shocks and springs. So it's a little lower than stock  ;). The car was originally Lagoon Blue. But I'm finding green and red paint underneath. I'm thinking of painting it Elise Laser Blue, slightly lighter than original. Oh, and LED lights all around.

I converted almost all my lights to LEDs. In case it's useful to you, I added the part numbers and sources for the ones I got. Keep in mind that I have a TCS so there are probably several differences to your S2, but it ought to get you started. Also, superbrightleds.com has a bulb finder for automotive applications that is very useful.

You should also make sure you get the right color LEDs because they can be so bright that they over power your lens so a with LEd behind a red brake lens would probably give you a pink light.

One thing I would change is I would get flashers of the same format (two lug) for motorcycles. Those are probably louder than the ones I got, but my car is pretty loud so I'm not always reminded that the blinker is on because the "tick" is not loud enough.
