WTB Left hand side rear hub carrier for a S-2
« on: Tuesday,February 07, 2017, 06:14:32 AM »
Hi .. i am looking for a Left hand rear hub carrier . Ideally in the UK (for the avoidance of shipping and customs charges).  Anyone have one that's surplus to their needs ?

I have one, but it's based in the US. Let me know if nothing comes up locally. It's not going anywhere for now.

I also have his twin if your looking for the other side!

I got one from Richard at Banks.  Reconditioned and reasonably priced

Thanks Paul.. if i dont have any success in the UK i'll be in touch

Runningwild .. thanks .. i'll try Banks , but have been largely unsuccessful in buying anything from them over the last few months. I think i must need a secret handshake or something :-) .  will give them a go on this and see if i get lucky this time

Nigel, what happened when you tried to buy something from Richard? Did you phone him? He doesn't do email.

hi BDA .. usually a bit of Both, and also tried the web site "expression of interest" type order form  .

In fairness Richard is ALWAYS incredibly helpful on the phone , but the conversations to date have always ended with a request for me to email them with a list , and that's where it falls over .  Maybe if i do smaller orders it will take away the email dependency.

Hmmmm... I need to order some stuff from him. I guess I'll just start the conversation with "Can you send me..."

I order everything by phone from Richard. Never had any issues. I always get up early to call from NY
