Europa Calendar
« on: Thursday,March 10, 2016, 07:04:47 AM »
I'm posting this in the off chance anyone here didn't see it from the Yahoo Group.

I just got my calendar and it is great. No photographs, it is all cartoons and artwork. Yeah we are 3 months into it, but who cares. It would be worth getting even if just to cut the pages out. There is a preview showing every month on the page linked below.

Excellent! Thanks for posting. Goint to order one right now. Do you know if photos are being solicited for next year's calendar, or will it continue to feature drawn artwork only?
The Twin Cam plays the symphony whilst my right foot conducts the orchestra. At 3800 rpm the Mad Pipe Organ joins in.

I do not know about next year. Apparently the photo calendar did not happen this year due to a lack of photo submissions. This calendar was made by a different guy to fill the void, which was lucky for garage and kitchen walls around the world.

There's two versions.  This version runs from March 2016 to March 2017:

I plan to release a full 2017 version in late October. For now, a poll on the yahoo group indicated that most wanted my (late release) calendar to be a full 2016 but a few wanted March 2016 - February 2017 which I constructed also at http://www.lulu.com/author/content_revise.php?fCID=18505151. Another way to reach the place Johns link goes. The 2016 calendar is called "The Glorious Lotus Europa" and the 2016-2017 variant is called "The Glorious Lotus Europa +"
Same cartoons. Second one has a nicer cover.
2017 may be a mixture of cartoons and landscape art with Europa's in the scenes. Just depends on what content I have available.
I held off producing the calendar so as not to undermine Bryan's work, but he was fine with it. When he gave it the thumbs up, I moved my time table up and got one out within a couple of weeks rather than waiting.
Bryan indicated to me that he'd be back with his photo calendar, so do send him photos! Mine will be a different calendar. Art.

 :Welcome:
I'd buy one of each if they are both available next year.

I sent a bad link, genius that I am. The March - Feb calendar is at http://www.lulu.com/shop/dennis-fenimore/the-glorious-lotus-europa/calendar/product-22583427.html. Or go to www.lulu.com and search for Lotus Europa or Dennis Fenimore.
Only one Europa calendar next year! I did two this year because some group members wanted a full 2016 and some wanted one starting with this month.
Plus I'll do an Austin Healey calendar most likely. Many similar images.
