Factory markings,,,,,or not?

Hi all.   I'm not that familiar with Europas and I've obtained a cache of suspension arms that I think are Europa.   My question has to do
with what I'm finding on most of them.  They are stamped LH or RH and stamped either on the inside of the 'box' or at the end, where
the ball joint would go. 

Is this a factory marking or did the PO do this?

Factory.  Each side has a different "tilt" to the ball joint.

Interesting.  Thanks!    Does the fact that some are marked in the box and others, with the same marking, are at the ball joint end, have
anything to do with anything?
