Steering rack location
« on: Friday,July 10, 2015, 01:42:29 PM »
Guys, I am trying to install my steering rack on 2112P and I have a question. Because my car was coverted to LHD in the late 70's and I bought it in bits   :headbanger: and now converting it back to RHD I need to install the rack. the workshop manual only refers to a LHD car on rack location  :headbanger: . Does anyone know which of the 2 sets of location mounting to use and the set up measurements or even a decent photo of a RHD chassis set up.

Thanks

Dave

Hi Dave,

By coincidence, I was messing about with my car yesterday. These are the best shots I can get, RHD '72TC car.   You can just about see the unused holes and how the rack mounts go. Is this what you were after ?  The car is still over the pit if you need any alternative shots.

Brian,

That's perfect. That's exactly what I was after.
