OK, we are about 2 weeks till the BBQ and Gathering. Can you give me some idea of who is going to join us?

As an extra thought what about inviting other Lotus Owners? Maybe Elan or Elise owners

Funny, I bought my Europa in Costa Mesa.  Too hot right now to drive it the 5+ hours down there though.

  We will be in Cali right before this for Pebble Beach Concours, just missing your event but we wish we could make it with our 73 Europa Twin Cam Special!!

Wish I could make it, Joe. If it was within a day's drive of me I'd do it, but I'm afraid I'm a bit farther away than that. Sounds like it would be fun. In fact, I'd relish any opportunity to meet other Europa owners and their cars. Throughout my entire life I've only seen three other Europas in person in Canada, and none of them since I've bought mine. Just once I'd like to drive down the road and see another Europa coming the other way. Heck, I love to see what mine looks like driving down the road, or more importantly, hear it going down the road. I love to know what this thing sounds like. I'm going to have to find someone who I can talk into driving the lotus someday...

  Update      

OK, so we will have hamburgers, hotdogs, Halibut, Salmon, and Lingcod. If anyone is wanting some thing else please let me know. You are more than welcome to bring your own protein if you wish. There will be an assortment of snacks and a variety of Beer and Beverages.

I look forward to seeing you guys this weekend.

Also if someone could post this update on the Yahoo Forum I would greatly appreciate it. For some reason my ISP is being blocked from Yahoo. Although I can go read post at the Yahoo Group, I am unable to post.

Thank you to all the guys who came out on Saturday. It is always nice to see members in person. I think we should try and do get togethers more often. I know I am inspired to get my car finished.
