Yes, it came to Denmark in 2008, I emailed a little with the buyer via our local club webpage.
Unfortunately, it was trailered backwards during delivery and the rear hatch opened, crashed the roof and the windscreen and then broke off. The car was then sat on the docks in rainy weather awaiting pickup.
I can't seem to find any newer mails than this. I will try to dig into it some more... It's been 7 years, I hope it's fixed and driving around happily by now.
Tom Patten helped the buyer with examining the car, and posted this message (80506) on the Yahoo group after the rear hatch mishap:
"I was recently helping a local older gentleman with the sale of his
Europa. Like so many of these cars, it was going to Europe because of
the soft US dollar. This was a wonderful burnt orange colored Europa
with a PERFECT interior and very few body cracks. I helped load the car
facing forward on a trailer. Six weeks later I get a picture of the
car from the buyer in Europe. The rear bonnet was missing and it had
been ripped from it's hinges. The front windshield was smashed and the
interior was destroyed. The roof and other parts of the body had lots
of new cracks. The interior was covered with mold after sitting on the
dock for weeks in the rain.
As hopefully most of us Know, If a Europa is transported backwards on
an open trailer, the airstream can get under the rear hood causing it
to flex releasing the rear latch. Once released the hood flys open and
beats the heck out itself and what ever it hits."
