Sold my Europa TCS
« on: Sunday,October 19, 2014, 10:42:16 AM »
I had to make a tough decision this weekend.   The problem?  too many cars and not enough time left.   I sold the Europa.   I had no room to walk in the garage so something had to go.   My addiction is Elan Plus 2's so they weren't going anywhere.......well, at least not yet.

I have some parts listed on the FS section of this website.   I make no money, I just want to get what I spent on the parts.  I have put them here first before Evilbay

Hi Mike,

I'm sad that your Europa is going, but I do understand the problem. Sometimes our enthusiasm just overtakes practicality and then real life comes along and stirs things even more.  It's tough building houses and restoring old cars at the same time.

Are the new owners on the forum ?  It'd be good to get another enthusiast on board.

Best of luck with the +2 collection, I'll no doubt be seeing you on Lotuselan.net once you're started on them ?

Cheers

Brian

The upside to this is, the folks are car nuts.   They now have two Europa TC's.  It went to a good home.

As much as I hate to see you leaving the Europa fold, it should give you more time and space to work on your true passion of +2s. I'm glad it went to a good home!

Now get back to work on those +2s and don't forget to post a picture or two here of your progress!  :welder:

Hey Mike, even though you're Europa free, I hope you still stick around on this forum. If you ever get the urge to own another Europa, let me know, I may have one or two available for you to drive.

Ditto! I'm glad to hear it went to a good home. Please show us some pics of your +2s. I have a bit of a soft spot for those and could easily see myself in one someday. Cheers Mike  :beerchug:
The Twin Cam plays the symphony whilst my right foot conducts the orchestra. At 3800 rpm the Mad Pipe Organ joins in.

Bummer but understandable. (says a man with a Europa, 2 boats, truck, motorcycle... and no off street parking at home)

Mike,
What did you do with that Twin Cam engine I sold you and the 365 Tranny?
