S1 heater fan source?
« on: Thursday,September 11, 2014, 04:58:00 AM »
Anyone know where the S1 heater fan assembly originally came from?  Doesn't seem to be French.

TIA

John

Definitely not French! It has a Smiths electric motor. Not sure what the original source was.

Did a ton of googling and it is from a Mk1 or Mk2 Ford Cortina.

I have the fan but my fan support was cracked and broken.  I now have one coming from Jolly Old.

John,

Which vendor did you order from.   I'm also in need of a fan.

I just ordered a used one off eBay from a breakers in the UK.  The part was only $25 but the shipping was double that.  I was only after the alloy frame.
