Found and ordered a proper temp gauge today.
Next will be a sending unit.
I despise mechanical pressure gauges and plastic lines.

Well, now it IS my car!
Not sure if I should celebrate or commiserate.

   Congratulations on your car 👍👍

With a lot of trepidation I now intend to take the body off the frame.
But I cannot make this another full restoration.
So the scheme is:
To pull the body, make any needed chassis repairs.
Restore the dash, fix wiring.
Replace the water transfer pipes.
Fix the door sag.
Put it back together for sale.
Apply funds to my other S2.
All by June 2025.  :FUNNY:

On Wednesday I will find out what it cost to get Europa bumpers re-plated.
Then I have to decide if the increase in value justifies the cost.

Both doors removed today.
Drivers side pin was NOT fun.
Passenger side almost fell out.
I intend to do Hacille's ball hinge conversion ASAP.

The body is coming off and the dash out for re-laminating.
Now I see delamination at the edge of the windshield, I have a better one.
TRYING to avoid "Mission creep"!

Body off so that I may make any needed chassis repairs and document them.
