Yes there are 4 sheets in total for the shocks. I thought the rear springs looked a bit strange with the top part being a different coil style. Perhaps they are progressive in some way?

As BDA said, those thinner springs at the top are helper springs so that if you go on full droop the main spring stays under compression rather than flopping about. IIRC they are typically around 1-2lbs/inch and don't affect the overall spring rate in any noticeable way.
What I can't make out (and hence this post) is the top of the rear damper. It looks like a stud mount with those two flat rubber bushes whereas mine is a bolt/bush as per the lower mounting ? Is it just that the whole damper isn't in the photo ?
