No reserve 1970 S2 Project on auction at BaT

It looks a little rough but it is a project. It looks like a good foundation for an S2 restoration. The seller really needs to post some pictures of the frame though.

I'm enjoying reading all the comments, yet the price hasn't risen. I'm currently looking at something local, but my source doesnt know what type lotus it is under a cover for 25 years ... he claims its a LOTUS.

I’d go check it out. Maybe it’s an Elan or a 7!

Still no word back, however I did send him this listing. They have been neighbors for a long time and I think he's just trying to help the widow out. It was strange that a similar car popped up with NO ENGINE. Hopefully in three days I'll get a call, but he first mentioned it several years ago.   :deadhorse:  It's hard for some people to let go sometimes.

Just an update, it seems that a family nephew will take possession of a lotus. What model , still unknown. I’m glad that maybe we will have a new member here soon.

Well bought I think, at $4900.
The Twin Cam plays the symphony whilst my right foot conducts the orchestra. At 3800 rpm the Mad Pipe Organ joins in.
