Just returning from a month vacation myself and catching up on posts, glad to see you had another stellar trip, Lou. It's easy to see why you look forward to these trips every year.

Very interesting motorcycle collection, and those Matras are interesting looking cars. As BDA says, quite 'normal' for a French car. I have often said (and no disrespect intended) that many French cars look like they were designed by some who saw a car once, then drew it from memory. This is not a slight, as I've always enjoyed French cars for their uniqueness, individuality, and steadfast insistence to chart their own path of design.

Unfortunately I was away during the Italian Grand Prix, and didn't get to see it. I can't imagine the rush of being in the stands at Monza when Ferrari wins. That has to be special stuff indeed.
The Twin Cam plays the symphony whilst my right foot conducts the orchestra. At 3800 rpm the Mad Pipe Organ joins in.
