Engine, trans, exhaust, mounts and alternator ONLY. Claims just 12K miles on engine. Wet sump, Weber head, but NO carbs, headers complete to muffler, starter, both motor mounts, no fuel pump, distributor w/o cap & points. 5spd includes rear "bowtie" mounting bracket and back half of shift linkage.

That seems kind of expensive for just an engine, with no carbs. Do TCs really go for that much?

Engine + 365 5-speed tranny. I think it is a bit expensive. The Weber head is desirable but new carbs would be another $1000 but I don't know how to value the 365. They no longer available and their substitutes seem to be rare. For example, it seems that NG3s are pretty rare nowadays. I think that 395 (only 2 spider gears and so are less desirable) are pretty hard to find as well.

In the end, the value of something all depends on what somebody is willing to pay it.

IMHO $7k for the engine, and $3k for the gearbox if both are in good working condition. .
