Mystery wheels, who made them?
« on: Tuesday,January 24, 2023, 07:19:24 PM »
Can anyone identify these wheels?
13" "Basket Weave" to fit Spitfire/GT6/Lotus Europa.
They do not show up in the old wheel guide and seem like they may be newer since they have the fake three piece wheel bolts.
The only manufacture marks I can find on them are a "Y" and stamped? partial model number on the back side.
I think they are the usual 5.5 wide.
Backspace 4.5" just like my Cosmic's.
Restored up I think they would look great on a Europa.

Seems unlikely as they are nearly unmarked.
As I recall BBS likes to make their customers advertise for them with BIG brand markings.
Did BBS ever do a 13" wheel?
